# My First Docker Project🐳

~Python Sum Application:
I developed a simple Python application that sums two numbers entered by the user. The app prompts the user for two integers, calculates their sum, and displays the result. The program flow is straightforward, ensuring ease of use.

~Docker Integration
To facilitate consistent deployment, I containerized the application using Docker. I created a Dockerfile that specifies the Python environment, sets up the working directory, and copies the application code into the container. The Dockerfile also defines the command to execute the application when the container runs.

~Steps Taken:

* Created the Application: Implemented a Python script ([myapp.py](http://myapp.py)) to sum two user-inputted numbers.

* Dockerized the App: Developed a Dockerfile for building the application image.

* Built the Docker Image: Executed `docker build -t myapp .` to create the image.

* Ran the Container: Used `docker run -it myapp` to launch the container, enabling user interaction.

~Outcome:
When executed, the application prompts the user for input and displays the sum of the two numbers, showcasing the simplicity and effectiveness of using Docker for deployment.

Errors Faced:
I encountered an error: "docker: Error response from daemon: failed to create task for container: failed to create shim task: OCI runtime create failed: runc create failed: unable to start container process: exec: '.': executable file not found in $PATH: unknown."
To fix this, I used the command `docker run -it your_image_name /bin/sh`.
